Historically, Kaua'i is one of the oldest main Islands in Hawaii. Kaua'i was formed by volcanic activity which has been long dormant and moved in location to form the other Hawaiian Islands. Over time its frequent rainfall has filled the island with lush green vegitation giving it the nick name 'the garden isle' and carved the famous Na Pali cliffs and Waimea Canyon.
Kaua'i also has great weather year around with many beaches on it's 90 mile coastline.
