Scuba Diving offers a deeper view into the underwater world. No matter what your experience level there are alot of dive companies with many options for you .
Besides traditional Certified Diving there is also a new option from SNUBA. Certified divers train non certified visitors on new equipment that floats on the surface, connected to the diver by a hose eliminating heavy diving tanks and allowing you to have an underwater guided tour.

Snorkeling Boat Rides:
Snorkeling on Smaller Catamarans (usually 25 passengers or less):
The Na Pali Coast is truly beautiful and not to be missed. Boats, whether charted fishing boats, commercial catamarans, or zodiac rafts, travel along the coast daily (weather permitting.) These boats also offer whale watching between November and April and dolphin spotting is a year-round activity. There are two locations that these day trips leave from year-round: Port Allen in Ele’ele (the South-West side of the island) and Waimea (the West side.) There are two other locations that are used more in the summer: Hanalei Bay (on the North) and Anini Beach (also on the North.) All of the catamarans that leave from these ports offer morning snorkel trips (and sometimes afternoon.) These trips include breakfast, lunch, refreshments, snorkel gear, dolphins, turtles, fish, and sometimes monk seals. The benefit of smaller catamarans is that they get closer to coastline and marine-life, can usually get in the sea caves, and snorkel in an ancient Hawaiian fishing village. Don’t forget your camera! Usually 4-5.5 hours
Snorkeling on Bigger Catamarans (usually 25-40):
Seeing the Na Pali on bigger catamarans is luxury all the way. You glide through the ocean on 50-62’ catamarans with on-board bathrooms, shade, continental breakfast, deli lunch, alcoholic beverages after snorkeling, and sailing without the motor when wind permit. This is a great trip for families and for those looking for more comfort than adventure. These crafts leave from Port Allen exclusively (the South-West side.) 5-5.5 hours
